We’re Matt and Lindsay, a husband-and-wife team dedicated to helping homeowners transform their properties into thriving vacation rentals in North San Diego County and Lake Arrowhead, CA. Our journey began in 2019 when we listed our own Leucadia home as a short-term rental. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion, and over the years, we’ve developed a proven system for managing high-performing vacation rentals—so our clients can enjoy the rewards without the stress.
Matt: Finance, Operations & Day-to-Day Management
Matt leads the daily operations of L&M Landing, ensuring each rental is managed with precision and efficiency. With a Finance and Accounting degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Matt has spent twenty years in accounting and business strategy. He began his career at California Bank & Trust before transitioning to the private sector, specializing in financial strategy, asset management, and large-scale budgeting. His expertise in pricing optimization, revenue growth, and financial oversight ensures that every property is both profitable and well-maintained.
From setting dynamic pricing and coordinating maintenance to handling guest communications and financial planning, Matt takes care of the details so homeowners can feel confident in their investment.
Lindsay: Design, Guest Experience & Property Setup
Lindsay plays a key role in curating beautiful, high-performing vacation homes. She has been a teacher in the Encinitas School District since 2006, bringing a deep understanding of people, organization, the community, and hospitality to the vacation rental space. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology and Education, and attended UC Davis and UCLA. She applies her expertise in human behavior and aesthetics to create inviting, five-star guest experiences.
Whether it’s styling a space for stunning listing photos, refining the details that make a stay special, or developing a hospitality-driven experience, Lindsay focuses on creating homes that stand out in a competitive market.
